On the Eight was founded by a former dancer and current dance mom whose daughter is a competitive dancer. With firsthand experience both on stage and behind the scenes, the studio was built on a deep understanding of how costumes need to move, catch the light, and withstand the demands of rehearsals and competition season.

We believe that a costume should feel as special as the dancer wearing it. Using high-quality Preciosa or Swarovski crystals (unless you choose to supply your own), we carefully enhance catalog costumes and base garments with custom placement and design tailored to each routine, style, and performer. The result is a polished, high-impact look that feels custom—without the cost of a fully custom costume.
